The God Who Helps You Face Your Giants

Life has a way of handing us giants. Sometimes they look like stress that never stops. Sometimes they look like financial pressure, a broken relationship, anxiety that keeps rising, or a situation that feels too heavy to carry.

When David stood in front of Goliath, the giant wasn’t just a warrior. He represented every impossible situation that makes us feel small and powerless. But Scripture shows us something powerful: God never asked David to defeat the giant on his own. God asked him to trust.

David didn’t win because he was strong. He won because he was willing to believe that God was bigger than the thing standing in front of him.

We all face giants. We all have moments where we feel unqualified, unprepared, or overwhelmed. But the story of David reminds us that God doesn’t wait for us to be perfect. He meets us right where we are — with whatever we have — and turns it into victory.

Sometimes all God needs is your yes. Your willingness to take a step. Your willingness to believe that He is still able to move in your life even when everything around you feels unstable or uncertain.

At BreadBreakers Church, we believe God is still the God who steps into impossible situations. He still lifts people out of stress, restores peace in the middle of chaos, and strengthens the weary. You don’t have to face your giants alone. You don’t have to carry everything by yourself.

If you’re in a season where life feels heavy or the challenges feel too big, remember David’s story. Giants fall. Stress breaks. Peace returns. Not because of your strength, but because of God’s faithfulness.
