We believe that GOD IS ONE (Deuteronomy 6:4, 1 Corinthians 8:4-6), and that Jesus Christ is God incarnate (in human form), BOTH GOD & MAN, that He was conceived and born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and sacrificed Himself to be punished in substitution for sinners. By His sacrifice and His resurrection from the dead, He obtained for us eternal redemption, the forgiveness of sins, and life everlasting. He was raised bodily and ascended to the right hand of the Father. HE WILL RETURN to the earth personally and visibly to consummate His kingdom. (See Matthew 1:18-25; John 1:1-18; Romans 8:34; 1 Corinthians 15:1-28; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Galatians 3:10-14; Ephesians 1:7; Philippians 2:6-11; Colossians 1:15-23; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-5:11;Hebrews 7:25; 9:13-15; 10:19; 1 Peter 2:21-25; 1 John 2:1-2)

We believe love is the chief motivation of God (John 3:16), love is the greatest of all commandments (Mark 12:29-31), love is the way we show the entire world we are the disciples of Jesus Christ (John 13:35), love was the parting command of Jesus (John 13:34, 2 John 5). Scripture is replete with sound doctrine, but there is none so powerful as the doctrine of love. Even if we understand all mysteries and knowledge, devote ourselves to a life of charity, work amazing miracles and prophesy powerfully, if we don't have love, we are nothing (1 Cor 13:1-3). We believe love leads us to SERVE GOD & SERVE OTHERS, according to Mark 12:29-31, and we strive to make BreadBreakers a place where LOVE ABOUNDS!!!

We believe the scriptural teaching that the church is WHO not WHAT, it is PEOPLE not PLACES, it's an ORGANISM not an ORGANIZATION. The church is the body of Christ (His hands and feet) in the earth, and Jesus is (or should be) the head of that body (Colossians 1:18). The church is made up of many different people, who may vary in background, culture, social status, race, age, gender, family status and many other ways, but they all come together in LOVE to form a wonderful "building" unto God (1 Corinthians 3:9-11, Ephesians 4:25, Ephesians 5:30). The church was born on the Day of Pentecost in Acts Chapter 2, and we believe in following after the early church in doctrine, practice, and experience. Scripture teaches they early church BROKE BREAD FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE continuously, and faithfully practiced prayer, fellowship, breaking bread, and sound teaching. All members of the church are critically important, and have varying gifts, callings, and abilities necessary for the proper functioning of the church (Romans 12:4-8, 1 Corinthians 12:14-27). This means YOU ARE IMPORTANT!!! Jesus Christ has a special plan for you in His body, the church, and we believe in HELPING YOU FIND YOUR PLACE and be all that Jesus wants you to be!!!

We believe the scriptures are God-breathed, profitable for all who want to be pleasing to God, and are sufficient to train us in the critical doctrines of the church (2 Tim 3:15-17). The Bible is our GUIDE BOOK for LIFE, and contains answers, guidance, wisdom, and instruction for life's most important areas such as family, finances, and health. It's important for those with faith in Christ and in relationship with Him to SEARCH the SCRIPTURES, study, and grow in our understanding so we can properly handle the Word of God and be equipped to live out what Jesus Christ desires (2 Timothy 2:15, Romans 12:2, Ephesians 5:10,17, James 1:22).

We believe God gave His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins, be buried in a tomb, and be raised in power the third day, and that this is the GOOD NEWS the New Testament Church preached (John 3:16, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4). God provided this incredible GOOD NEWS so that we can be freed from the weights, burdens and evils of this world, and have a RICH & FULL LIFE in Jesus (John 10:10). We believe salvation is an ACT OF GRACE (Ephesians 2:8-9), provided by God's MERCY & LOVE (Ephesians 2:4, 1 Peter 1:3, 1 Peter 2:10). Salvation is open to "whosoever will" (that means EVERYONE), and comes through our faith and obedience to the gospel of Jesus Christ (Romans 16:26, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-10, 1 Timothy 2:4, 1 Peter 4:17, 2 Peter 3:9).

We believe Jesus Christ calls us to serve (Matthew 5:16, Galatians 6:10, Ephesians 2:10; 4:16, Hebrews 6:10). Service (or ministry) comes in the form of giving of ourselves, and most giving can be categorized as either giving TIME or MONEY. Scriptures teach that believers who mature in Jesus Christ will desire to give both time and money, and will be REWARDED by God for their contributions. In fact, GOD LOVES A CHEERFUL GIVER!!! (Matthew 6:2, 1 Corinthians 8 & 9). Serving is Ministry, and it is not reserved for a special class or group of people (1 Corinthians Ephesians 4:12). Ministry comes in many forms, from Spiritual Gifts like miracles, prophecy, and faith, to "Five-Fold" Gifts such as Apostles and Pastors, to Functional Gifts like service, administration, and teaching. When we examine scripture, we see NO LAITY/CLERGY DISTINCTION. We are all supposed to serve by giving our time and money. (See Romans 12, 1 Corinthians 12, and Ephesians 4)
